Mr. Bahnson will now coordi nate the farm and agri-business activities of the N. C. Bankers Association in this area. State University; a two-day farm credit confer - E pi sco pa I Church Sets Christmas Play The Church of the Good Shep herd Episcopal Church will hold their annual Christmas pro gram on Sunday, December 21, at sp.m. Immediately following the program, the Christmas tree will be held in the Parish House with the singing of carols and the arrival of Santa Clause. Christmas Eve services will be held again this year at the Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church on December 24, at 11:30 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Last Turkey, Ham Shoot Is Sponsored The local Jaycees will sponsor the last Turkey and country ham shoot of the season on Saturday at the Cooleemee Ball Park. Hie big attraction of the day will feature the ladies demon strating their skill with a shot gun at 2 p.m. Look out fellows, die ladies are ready to give you some tough competition. Free coffee will be served to all contestants. Church Of God To Give Play The Cooleemee Church of God will present its annual Christ mas play entitled "From File T" on Sunday, December 21, at 7p.m. at the church. C. 10 Cents Jaycees Host Christmas Party For Davie's Retarded Children The Cooleemee Jaycees and Jaycettes were host to a Christ mas party for the Retarded children of Davie County in the Cooleemee School gymnasium Saturday night. Working as a husband and wife team, the Jaycees and Jaycettes traveled all over the county to bring these young sters to the party. Each child enjoyed refresh ments and was presented with a gift. Santa CI aus also arrived in time for the party and colored pictures of each child with Sa nata were made and given to them by the Jaycees.
